STEP 1: STANCE WIDTH
Either get tech with a tape measure, or just eyeball it to find out what looks and feels best. You may need to experiment to find the stance that works best for your style of riding. If you have no idea how wide/narrow of a stance to ride, try going slightly wider than shoulder width and modify from there.
STEP 2: MOUNT ADAPTER PLATES
Align your adapter plates with the board’s inserts that you plan on using. Insert the plastic reference mask inside the discs screw holes for a seamless adapter plate alignment. Using a #3 screwdriver, hand thread 4 (10mm) M6 screws into each adapter plate.
STEP 3-A: MOUNT SPLIT DISCS
Remove the plastic reference mask and place the split discs on top of the adapter plates with your desired stance angles. Each notch on the split discs is equal to 6° and each set of teeth is equal to 3°.
STEP 3-B: MOUNT DISCS
Insert locking metal washer into split disc. Using a #3 screwdriver, hand thread 4 (20mm) M6 screws into the adapter plates.
Leave the disc screws a little loose. Push binding directly down onto plastic discs, rotate binding 90° to align with pinhole. Insert pin through binding and disc. Then proceed to tighten screws all the way. This will allow for the best alignment possible between the disk, baseplate and pin.
STEP 4: TOURING BRACKETS
Align touring bracket with the boards touring inserts. Using a #3 screwdriver, hand thread 3 (10mm) M6 screws into each touring bracket.
STEP 1: THE PIN
Align toe edge of binding with touring bracket. Slide the pin through the binding and touring bracket, lock the pin securely into place using the plastic tab on the baseplate.
STEP 2: TOURING MODE
For more comfort, set the highback to touring mode. Your highback should have negative forward lean when touring mode is engaged.
STEP 3: STEEP CLIMBS
For help on steep climbs, flip down the heel riser underneath the baseplate and lock securely into place.
Flip your touring pole upside down and use the handle to push the heel riser into place.
STEP 4: CRAMPONS
If extra traction is needed, insert crampon handle into the baseplate horizontally and turn 90° to lock securely into place. (Crampons sold separately)
Rotate the forward lean adjuster on the highback 180° from touring mode. Your highback should have positive forward lean when in riding mode.
For more or less forward lean, loosen the screw and adjust to desired height.
Push bindings directly down onto plastic discs.
Rotate entire binding assembly 90° to align with pinhole. Insert pin through the binding and disc. Lock the pin securely into place using the plastic tab on the baseplate.
When mounting your bindings, make sure the ratchets are facing the tip and tail. Don’t put your bindings on backwards.
